Spouse of Indonesian Citizen

The Spouse ITAS is a residence permit for foreigners married to an Indonesian citizen. This visa allows foreign spouses to live in Indonesia long-term without the need for frequent visa renewals.

This visa provides a stable option for families looking to build a life in Indonesia. After several years, holders of this ITAS may be eligible to apply for permanent residency (ITAP). However, this visa does not automatically grant permission to work in Indonesia.

Notes:

  • This visa is available for legally married spouses of Indonesian citizens.
  • If you wish to work, you may need to apply for a separate work permit.
