Machinery Installation and Repair Visa

The Machinery Installation and Repair Visa is for foreign technicians, engineers, or specialists who are coming to Indonesia to install or repair machinery. The visa is valid for the duration of the installation or repair process and is typically issued for up to 60 days, with the possibility of extension. Like the other single-entry visas, it becomes invalid once you leave Indonesia.

Documents Requirement

Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
A recent color photograph.
Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
Statement from government agency or private institution explaining that the installation and or repair of the machine must be carried out by the Foreigner concerned and cannot be represented/authorized to others.

Prohibited from selling goods or services, unless necessary as part of the MICE or Trade Fair in which you are participating.
Prohibited from receiving rewards, wages, or any similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
Prohibited from working in an employment relationship with an individual or corporation in Indonesia.
