Investor ITAS

The Investor ITAS is a residence permit for foreign investors who want to stay in Indonesia while managing their business. This visa is typically valid for 1–2 years and can be renewed. Investor ITAS provides flexibility and stability for business owners without requiring a work permit (RPTKA) in certain cases.

As this visa is specifically for investors, it does not grant permission for employment under a company where you are not a shareholder. If you require a work permit, consider applying for a Working ITAS instead.

The validity of this visa depends on the investment value and company structure.
This visa allows multiple entries, so you can travel in and out of Indonesia freely.

Documents Requirement

PMA (Foreign Investment Company) company document
Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
A recent colour photograph.
A personal bank statement showing a minimum equivalent amount of USD $2000. The statement must cover the last 3 months and include your name, the date, and the account balance.
Evidence of share ownership of at least Rp10,000,000,000.00 (ten billion rupiah) or equivalent in the guarantor company listed in the Ministry of Investment / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board.
Ministry of Law and Human Rights Decree regarding the legalization of the establishment the company.
Company current account for the last 2 (two) months.

Carry out activities related to business, investment, and company establishment.
Bring eligible members of your family.
Conduct activities as a member of the board of directors or commissioners of the company in which you are investing.
Travel to and from and live in Indonesia as long as your permit is valid.
Carry out activities related to tourism, and visit friends or family.

Cannot (✘)

Do work that is not in accordance with the residence permit.
