Travel Policy due to the Mass Exodus for Holy Months of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah during COVID-19 Outbreak.
As the issuance of the Circular Letter Task Force for COVID-19 in accordance to Terms and Conditions for Passenger Travel During H-14 prior to prohibition of Mass Exodus, the Mass Exodus Period of 6
th – 17
th May 2021 and H+7 after prohibition of Mass Exodus, the followings apply:
- H – 14 prior to prohibition period of Mass Exodus (22 April 2021 – 5 May 2021):
- Health certificate of negative RT-PCR / Rapid Antigen / GeNose C19 test result issued within a maximum period of 1 x 24 hours before departure for air, land and sea travellers.
- Kids under 5 years old are not mandatory to take RT-PCR / Rapid Antigen / GeNose C19 test as a travelling requirement.
- All travellers are obliged to fill and submit Electronic Health Alert Card (E-HAC).
- Mass exodus is prohibited to control mobility during the Holy Months of Ramadhan and Eid-Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah.
- Some exceptions apply for travellers with urgent needs as follow:
- Work / business travel
- Sick family visit
- Family member bereaved visit
- Pregnant woman can travel with one family member as a companion. However, the two persons can accompany if the travel is for childbirth purposes.
- Requiring health services.
- Travelers with urgent needs above are required to have a print out of a written travel permit from the related institution or Exit / Entry Permit (SIKM) to exit / enter and submit the Travel Statement in Controlling COVID-19 in Indonesia.
- H + 7 after the prohibition period of Mass Exodus (22 April 2021 – 5 May 2021). Health certificate of negative RT-PCR / Rapid Antigen/ GeNose C19 test result issued within a maximum period of 1 x 24 hours before departure for air, land and sea travellers.
