Staying or Working in Bali?
When visiting a foreign land, like Bali, your intentions should be made clear from the start. If you plan to stay for a vacation, then you will only need your passport and Visa on Arrival. However, working in Bali is not allowed if you are there only as a traveler.

Types of KITAS

Working KITAS
If you intend to work in Bali, then you must have a working visa. This ITAS or KITAS Bali will allow you to earn income and manage your money from your personal bank account. Any foreigners who work in Bali can use the card to prove their legitimacy as workers there.
Investor KITAS
The other type of ITAS or KITAS Bali is the one intended for investors. The Foreign Investment ITAS or KITAS allows investors to stay in Bali and manage their businesses. There are two types of indices you can choose from, which are C313 and C314.
Both C313 and C314 have the same purposes but different periods of validity. C313 has a validity of one year, while C314 can stay valid for two years.
Second Home Visa

Researcher KITAS
Doing research in Bali means that you need to obtain a legal permit first. This activity involves the related institution that recommends your role on the island. It means that you are obligated to provide a recommendation letter from the said institution on your way to Bali.
What You Need to Get KITAS Bali
To properly work for a living in Bali, you must meet the general requirements as follows:
- The applicants are not allowed to work during the applications.
- Working ITAS or KITAS applicants should provide proof of employment in Bali, while dependents shouldn’t.
- All documents must be completed for the application to be processed.
In addition to the requirements above, you should complete the application by providing documents below:
- A scanned passport in color with a minimum validity of 18 months
- Four pieces of photos, 3 x 4 cm and 4 x 6 cm, with a red background.

- Proof of work experience for the minimum period of five years
- Deed and decree of establishment of the company
- Amendment deed, as well as SK and NIB
- Organizational structure
- A draft of a working contract
- Associate TKI

- KTP and KK of the guarantor
