Types of Indonesian Visas for Thai<\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition to the visa exemption, Thai nationals can apply for the other types of Indonesian visas. There are two types that can be obtained for traveling purposes that are more flexible, namely a <\/span>Visa on Arrival<\/b><\/a> and a Visit Visa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both visas can be granted for Thai citizens who intend to enter Indonesia for purposes such as travel, official government duties, family visits, international conferences, and business meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visa on Arrival (VoA)<\/span><\/h3>\n

As a Thai traveler, you can apply for a Visa on Arrival to visit Indonesia. Just as the name indicates, the application for this visa is available upon arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a Visa on Arrival (VoA), as a Thai national, you can stay in Indonesia for 30 days. If you wish to stay longer, you may apply for an extension once.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note that the extension can grant you another 30-day stay. So, in total, you can stay in Indonesia for 60 days at the most. Afterward, you should leave the country, or else you must be fined for overstaying.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you need to stay longer than 30 days, then the right Indonesia visa for Thai citizens to get is the Visit Visa.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s an entry permit that\u2019s divided into two categories: single-entry visas and multiple-entry visas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>single-entry visa<\/b><\/a> can grant you a 60-day stay. With this visa, you are allowed to apply for an extension twice. Each extension allows you to stay for another 60 days, making you eligible to stay in the country for 180 days in total.<\/span><\/p>\n
