Since the rise of the new variant covid virus, the Indonesian government has restricted foreigners to enter Indonesia, who has visited the following cities within fourteen days prior: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mozambique, Eswatini, and Nigeria.
The Indonesian government also temporarily suspends the granting of visit visas and limited stay visas for citizens of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mozambique, Eswatini, and Nigeria;
The provisions are excluded for foreigners who will attend meetings related to the Indonesian Presidency in the G20. The Group of Twenty (G20) is an important multilateral forum for global economic cooperation.
This rule is effective from November 29, 2021.
