Policies by the Indonesian Government Related to the Spike in Daily Case of Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic in India
In recent events, the case regarding quarantine in Indonesia has been questioned by many due to the outbreak of positive cases when the Indians enter to Indonesia. Therefore, some steps have been taken to mitigate the following issues.
- The Indonesian government restricts all foreigners who have history of travelling from India 14 Days prior to entering Indonesia. Visitor Visa and Temporary Stay Visa applications are temporarily suspended for Indian nationalities.
- Indonesian citizens who have been travelling or transiting from India in the last 14 days prior to entering Indonesia, are allowed to arrive at only the following Indonesian ports:
- Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang;
- Juanda International Airport, Surabaya;
- Kualanamu International Airport, Medan;
- Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado;
- Batam Centre International Seaport, Batam;
- Sri Bintan Pura International Seaport, Tanjung Pinang; and
- Dumai International Seaport, Dumai.
