Single Entry Music Performer

The Single Entry Music Performer Visa is for foreign musicians or performers who wish to perform in Indonesia. The visa is valid for the duration of the performance or event, typically up to 60 days. Since this is a single-entry visa, it will become invalid once you leave the country. For multiple entries, you would need to apply for a different visa type.

Documents Requirement

  • Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
  • A recent colour photograph.
  • A personal bank statement showing a minimum of USD $2000. The statement must cover the last 3 months and include your name, the date, and the account balance.
  • Guarantee letter from the event organizer.
  • Visa application and the performer’s contract with the event organizer.
  • A birth certificate for a child under 18 years old.

  • Receive hospitality relating to food, accommodation and transport while in Indonesia.
  • Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
  • Receive payment through a contract between the Indonesian sponsor and the performer’s foreign entity. Direct payments to individuals are not permitted.

Cannot (✘)

  • Exit and re-enter into Indonesia.
  • Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.
  • Selling goods or services.
  • Perform PAID work.
  • Performing art, culture, or behavior that is not in accordance with applicable regulations or norms.

FAQs

VoA is valid for 30 days (extendable once), and can be obtained on arrival or online. A Tourist Visa must be applied for in advance, is valid for 60 days, and extendable up to 180 days. Both are for tourism only and do not allow work or business.

No your Visa cannot be converted to another Visa. But you can convert your Tourist Visa into an ITAS (Stay Permit). If you want to change your Tourist Visa to another type of Visa, you must leave Indonesia first and enter with the new one.

No, you cannot conduct business activity while on a Visa in Indonesia. More specifically, to do business activity that involves you receiving money from that business activity from Indonesian entity (personal or business entity). But you can attend business meeting in Indonesia while you are on a Business Visa. You can do remote work by using Remote Worker Visa but your income must come from entity outside of Indonesia.
